2026 Carnival Day 2: FRIDAY

What do you do when it’s in the 60’s, mostly clearly skies and sunny in Pittsburgh? You Race!!!

SRS came through playing no games yesterday. The team had a full showing at prelim races with 4 Womens Teams, 4 Mens Teams and some exhibitions as well. The day had it’s ups and downs but the team stayed strong and methodical throughout the day. We saw some of the standard things - our team putting their all into the races, bright beautiful buggies, the team united in their blue t-shirts and sweatshirts, and music at the truck. We also saw BOTH D teams pass the teams they were racings with A and B teams, some swift movement to garner re-rolls and some real comeradie amongs our team.

Results: Both Men and Women’s A and B made their way to Finals!!! Tomorrow we’ll see them race as well as the All Gender teams race and more exhibitions (featuring our alums in kilts). Leaderboard is here.

After hours, the alums got together for the annual alumni dinner. We tried a new spot and had a great time!
